The Delaware Smiles - Let Me Get It All Out

Here's a great tune I did with the lovely Genevieve Jones. It was inspired by a short film i worked on called The Master Cleanse written and directed by Todd Strauss-Schulson. Jeffrey Skaistis wrote the lyrics. We're calling ourselves The Delaware Smiles.

Rock Your Socks

So, excuse the awful playing on this demo. I was drunk. There were 2 ideas with this one. First...can i do a song that really sits on the same chord for like...A WHILE....but then when it busts in on chord number 2 it's totally awesome and punches you in the face like crazy. The second idea, was to see if i could do awesome falsetto screaming. I think i succeeded at both of these things.

Exploration 08 (Daddy Stop Yelling)

Oh man. GOOD LUCK getting through this one. It's painful. Wrote this one night when some friends were over, who then got drunk and had this real intense argument. Took me back to darker days. FUN FACT...some of the sounds in this are from the game MINESWEEPER (which I used to be pretty great at). Anyway, have fun exploring the psyche of a very sad and very frightened child.....

Boyz Will B Boyz - It's Christmas Time Again

Ladies and gentlemen, it is here. The unreleased, master recording, of the most infamous song ever written! During the Harold and Kumar Christmas sessions, I had the extreme honor to put together maybe the greatest boyband that has ever existed ever. So sexy, and cool, that it would probably melt your face if the true members were ever revealed. We came together for one song, on one night, and that famous session went down in history, to be displayed forever in the sands of time. So for the first time ever, you my friend, have the exclusive pleasure to peak into the hourglass, and hear the results of that fabled and abandoned session. And God-willing, maybe someday, this legendary group will reunite for an encore performance. But until then.....Enjoy ;-)

Interestellar Overdriver / Interstellar Blues

This is my first post, and one of many, that focuses on various pieces of gear that have adorned my collection over the years. Back in 2005, my good friend Chase Deso made the mistake of having a new guitar pedal shipped to my apartment so I could sign for it while he was out of town. BIG MISTAKE, because I basically never gave it to him (I did eventually pay him for it though). Over the years, the Interstellar Overdriver has become an essential piece to my collection. Specifically, it makes my Roland SH-1000 howl like a banshee (take notice at around 3:40 for this effect.) After some basic experimentation, I ended up making this track, where I ran every instrument through the pedal. Including the drums! Without any further adieu....

Nice Girl

Some years ago, I was a member of a weekly song writing club. And once a month, we would put on a show in a classroom at berklee, and everyone would take turns playing their latest song. I had told my good friend Parama Chattopadhyay about this show the morning of. She was excited, and said she was going to come see me play a song. SO NATURALLY, I took that opportunity to write a song about Parama and our fictional love affair to play at the show that night. Needless to say, it was a BIG hit. A few years later, I recorded a version of that song. ENJOY....

I Feel So Bonnaroo

Some years ago I went to the Bonnaroo music festival with some friends. One of those friends, was my good friend Mr. Will Savage. WELL....we got into a bit of trouble down there in TN. Yes sir. There's some photo evidence below of that. Will jotted down these lyrics and spoke about what we were up to in Coffee County. Naturally, I was inclined to make a techno remix of that account. Wouldn't you know it, 8 years later Will got himself engaged to the lovely Ms. Jessica Staubach (she was there too). So without any further adieu, ENJOY.

Every few years, my friend Joe Langmuir comes over and we make a track. Mind you, Joe does not make music at all. He's a computer animator.
